Addis Ababa( Ethiopia Today) August 9, 2023:Ethiopian Airlines honored travel agencies and tour operators for their exceptional contributions to the growth of tourism and the economy of Ethiopia.
The annual event, which aims to stimulate the development of the tourism sector in Ethiopia, took place at the Ethioian Skylight Hotel.
In the award ceremony, themed “Celebrating Partnership with Renewed Commitment,” Alemu Sime, the Minister of Transport and Logistics, Nasise Chali, the Minister of Tourism, Mesfin Tasew, the CEO of Ethiopian Airlines, and representatives from various travel agencies and tour operators attended.

The awards were presented based on the recipients’ outstanding performances in eight categories, including booking quality, digitalization promotion, and high sales, among others.
In his speech, Mesfin Tasew, the CEO of Ethiopian Airlines, expressed his gratitude to the travel agencies and tour operators for their significant role in the accomplishments of the airline.
