Addis Ababa (Ethiopia Today) July 14 2023:- Addis Chamber has officially launched the Institute of Directors (IoD) in a bid to support Business leadership.
With the objectives of providing training to equip business leaders with new skills, IoD ,the first of its kind in Ethiopia was launched with the attendees of prominent stakeholders drawn from key sectors such as from government, non governmental organizations, private sectors and civil society organizations among others.
In her opening remark ,Mesenbet Shenkute, President of Addis Chamber said that launching such kinds of services will be such unique intervention ever done by Addis Chamber.
Nelson Kuria (PhD) Chairman of IoD Kenya expressed his readiness to support Addis chamber to back such initiatives to take on.
“The launching of such kinds of services to support business leadership will eventually help to bolster economy”said Brook Taye (PhD), the Director General of Ethiopian capital market authority.
Solomon Desta , the Deputy governor of National Bank of Ethiopia in his remark underscores leadership is one of the most important aspect in sustaining businesses and he further pledged to support Addis Chamber for such kinds of brilliant initiatives of launching such services.
