Addis Ababa( Ethiopia Today) June 7, 2023 :- Safaricom Ethiopia has announced and awarded winner of the second Car, winners of two Bajajs, two Motorbikes and multiple devices in its 3rd and 4th round of Terek Begursha national promotion.
The lucky winners include a Car winner from Adama, two Bajaj winners from Erer and Dangla, two Motorbike winners from Dangla and Ambo and smartphones and tablets winners from across the country.
Additionally, more than 710,000 customers have been awarded daily airtime prizes since the launch of the promotion on 5th April 2023.
Tola Jima from Adama emerged as the lucky winner of the second car prize in the 4th round of the Terek Begursha national promotion.
“I didn’t believe it when they first called and told me that I won the car. It actually took me quite some time to digest the whole thing. I have been using my Safaricom line for a while now and never thought that it would bring me a car. I am happy I won and I encourage others to try their luck at winning the prizes,” said Tola Jima.
“We’re excited to award the third and fourth group of customers and to see the diversity of winners from across the country. The campaign is progressing well and we hope these lucky winners show others that they have a shot at winning cars, Bajajs, Motorbikes, phones and more. Anyone can win and should increase their chances of winning by joining the 07 network and using their Safaricom lines daily,” said Charles Wanjohi, Chief Commercial Business Officer, Safaricom Ethiopia.
The Terek Begursha national promotion is a lucky draw awarding unique codes to customers for buying a Safaricom SIM card, downloading and using WhatsApp, recharging their existing lines with airtime and buying packages.
The national promotion which began two month ago seeks to reward customers bi-weekly with 200 Kimem phones, 3 Samsung S21 Phones and 3 Samsung Tablets in addition to the bi-weekly Bajaj and Motorbike prizes, monthly car prize and daily airtime prizes.
The Terek Begursha national promotion runs until July 4th 2023 across regions in Ethiopia where the Safaricom network has been switched on.
