Addis Ababa (Ethiopia Today) June 19,2023: Chinese Ambassador to Ethiopia, his delegation visit current activities of Mekelle Industrial Park
Chinese Ambassador to Ethiopia Zhao Xuan, Chinese Minister of Council Mr. Yang and the Deputy CEO of China Communications Construction Company Ltd (CCCC) Ethiopia visited the Mekelle Industrial Park in the Tigray region.
Mekelle Industrial Park Manager Filimon Terefe and the officials of the park received the delegation and discussed with them. The delegation visited thr Construction Company (CCCC) projects being carried out in the park.
Industrial Parks Development Corporation said the visit comes “following the fact that Mekelle IP is on the way to start operation, a call has been made to Ambassador Zhao Xuan for Chinese investors to invest in various sectors of investment in the park.”
IPDC’c chief of staff, Fitsum Ketema, last week stated that Industrial Parks Development Corporation has done all the necessary preconditions to bring Mekele Industrial Park back to operation.
