Addis Ababa (Ethiopia Today), April 24, 2023: Ethiopia’s Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, Demeke Mekonnen, arrived in Tanzania this afternoon, according to state media reports.
Demeke has started a visit to four African countries, including Comoros, Burundi, and Uganda.
The top diplomat spoke with Tanzanian President Samia Suluhu Hassann today “on bilateral and environmental issues.”
The news came a day after Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed said peace negotiations with the Oromo Liberation Army (OLA) would start in Tanzania on Tuesday.
