Addis Ababa (Ethiopia Today), April 13, 2023: The World Food Programme (WFP) has appealed for 62 million USD in a bid to support 900,000 refugees in Ethiopia.
WFP’s country office in Ethiopia confirmed today that the funds requested will be used to continue supporting 900,000 refugees in Ethiopia who depend on WFP for food assistance over the next six months.
WFP mentioned that its team, RRS, UNHCR, and the Ethiopian government are responding to the new influx of 100,000 refugees in Bokh, Somalia’s regional state.
